Baked Macaroni and Brie Recipe

Makes 4 servings

8 ozs. dry pasta
2 tbsps. Butter
1/2 cup of bread crumbs or crackers
1/4 cup of heavy cream
2 tbsps. Flour
3 tbsps. Melted butter
1 cup of milk
7 ozs. Brie with the rinds removed then sliced into medium sized pieces
Fresh ground pepper & salt

Oven should be preheated to around 350′ F. Get four individual two-cup dishes or medium size casserole dish and be sure to grease it well. Cook pasta until it is al dente and drain off the water.

When pasta is still cooking, heat 2 tbsps. of butter on medium-low flame inside a saucepan and add in the flour to it then just stir continuously for about 2 mins. until a roux is formed.

Add in cream and milk then bring it to a boil then lower the heat around to low. Put in cheese then just stir it until cheese melts and becomes smooth. Season with some pepper and salt.

Add the cooked pasta into your sauce and make sure to mix them well. Place the cooked pasta with sauce onto the dishes that have been greased with butter.

Into another bowl, combine bread crumbs or the crackers with three tbsps. of butter (melted) and sprinkle this on top of the cooked pasta that is ready to go inside the oven. Bake in the oven for 15 mins.
