Baked Spaghetti Pie Recipe
2 lbs. spaghetti
1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce
1 lb. beef (ground)
1/2 cup of grated cheese (Romano)
2 lbs. cheese (ricotta)
1 lb. Italian sausage (spicy)
1 lb. sliced thinly Provolone cheese
1/2 cup of whole milk
3 big eggs
Oven should be preheated to around 475′ F. Inside a big pot of boiling water, cook the spaghetti for 20 mins. then drain & set it aside. Inside a bowl, mix together eggs, milk & ricotta then slowly add this mixture to the cooked spaghetti & blend well together.
Flatten out the spaghetti mixture to a 13×9-inch baking pan just until it is even and compact. Inside a skillet, cook and brown the sausage and beef then drain off the drippings. Add in the sauce.
Evenly spread out the meat sauce mixture on the spaghetti “crust” then arrange Provolone slices on it and finally sprinkle half a cup grated cheese on the top then bake for 20 mins.
