Best Old Fashioned Egg Noodles Recipe
Chicken or any other broth
Milnot
Flour
Salt
Eggs
Eggs should be slightly beaten (Any number that you want depends on the size batch that you want). Add about 1/2 cup of the eggshells of the Milnot for 1 egg that is used. Specifically Milnot because any other brand might result to a different taste.
Add in some salt for taste and just stir the mixture up just enough for it to incorporate together. Add in flour gradually then mix just until dough firms up. Dough is going to be sticky.
Place dough onto a board that has been lightly dusted with some flour and then roll the dough out thinly (noodles get bulky when they are cooked).
Slice the dough in thin strips and toss them in flour after cutting them up and don’t worry about over flouring them because you won’t.
These noodles might be frozen (with lots of flour) or just cooked right away in a boiling pot of broth. Just cook until they are done to your taste. These noodles are best when they have aged a bit.
