Tomato Gravy over Rice Recipe
1 (28 oz.) can of crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup of green bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup chopped onions
3 tbsps. Flour
4 pcs. Bacon slices
Pepper & salt to taste
In a skillet, fry the bacon just until it is done but not crisped. Slice bacon in pieces and set it aside. Then, add in green peppers and onions to the skillet and saute them until they are tender.
Add the tomatoes then continue to cook simmering for 20 mins. Season with some pepper and salt.
In a small bowl, dissolve the flour with some cold water in order to form a paste that is smooth then add this mixture to the skillet and stir it often until the sauce thickens.
Best served while still hot on some cooked rice.
