Noodles Basilico Recipe
1 (12 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1 1/2 tsps. of dried basil (basilico) or 1/2 cup of chopped & loosely packed fresh basil
1/4 cup of butter
1 small can of black olives, drained & chopped
8 ozs. Cream cheese
Pepper & salt
Oven should be preheated to around 325′ F. Noodles should be cooked as per instructions from its package and drained well and kept warm. Onto a bowl, cream cheese should be softened then add in the olives.
Onto the warm noodles, add in the cream cheese mix then stir well until the cheese is melting. On a skillet, melt the butter and add in pepper, salt & basil.
Add this mixture to the noodles then place prepared noodles into a casserole dish that is about 2 qts. then bake it for about 20-30 mins
