Chili Twist Recipe
2 cups of egg noodles
1 (18-oz.) can of tomato sauce
3 qts. of water (boiling)
1/2 tsp. crushed leaves of basil (sweet)
1 tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. of parsley
2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans of chili con carne
1/4 tsp. oregano (Mexican)
Egg noodles should be cooked without a cover inside the boiling pot of water that has been lightly salted until they are soft.
Drain well. Mix together with the remainder of the ingredients then make sure to heat it all over.
Makes 4-6 servings
