Clam Linguine Recipe
8 ozs. Uncooked linguine
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans of clams, minced
1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
3-5 cloves minced garlic
1 cup of Monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp. of melted butter
Linguine should be cooked inside a big pot of water without any salt. Next drain the pasta well then set aside. Into a big skillet, saute the garlic with the butter.
Clams should be drained of their juice and the juice should then be added to the sauteed garlic inside the skillet along with the butter then this mixture should be brought to a boil cooking on medium-high flame for about 7 mins.
Add in cheese and clams cooking on low flame all the while stirring until the cheese has melted.
Evenly spread out the sauce on the linguine then finish with a sprinkling of parsley.
Makes four servings.
