Fettuccine al Pesto Recipe
1 1/2 lbs. cooked fettuccine
5 – 6 cloves of minced garlic
1/4 lb. softened butter
1/4 cup chopped parsley, packed firmly
1 tsp. of salt
1/2 cup of olive oil
1/2 tsp. of ground pepper
1/2 cup of cream
1/2 cup of chopped fresh basil
1/2 cup of chopped pecans or pine nuts
1 cup of freshly grated cheese (Parmesan )
2 tbsps. of water (boiling)
Inside a medium-sized saucepan, add all the ingredients aside from the cooked pasta and make sure the add water at the last. Cook simmering for about 10 mins. all the while stirring it often. Sauce should be kept warm.
Fettuccine should be cooked as per package instructions and drained well. Combine pasta and sauce then serve right away.
