Herbed Crabmeat Pasta Recipe
For the dressing:
1 1/2 tsps. of dry mustard
2 tbsps. of dill, minced
2 tbsps. of chives, minced
1/4 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsps. of parsley, minced
For the pasta:
1/2 lb. of spiral pasta or tricolor rotini
2 peeled & chopped carrots
1 lb. of crabmeat, sliced in little chunks
2 chopped stalks of celery
1 thinly sliced head of a fennel
2 cups of Jarlsberg cheese, shredded
To make the dressing: Inside a bowl, combine together olive oil, mustard, chives, parsley and dill. Pasta should be cooked as per directions from its package and 3 mins. prior to pasta being al dente, add in the carrots, celery & fennel.
Drain well then place the pasta with vegetables into bowl of dressing.
Mix together well then add the crabmeat & blend again. Sprinkle with shredded cheese before serving.
Serves 6-8
