Jalapeno and Chicken Pasta Alfredo Recipe
1 lb. of cooked cavatappi pasta
1 (32 oz.) jar of Alfredo sauce
1 cup of frozen & thawed peas (sugar snap), drained well
1 (13 oz.) pkg. of Sorrento or Precious
1 1/2 cups of cooked & shredded chicken
1 cup of mushrooms, sliced into quarters
1/4 cup of red pepper, sliced in strips
Shredded Jalapeno Mozzarella
1/2 cup of sliced green onions
In a big saucepan or saucepot, heat the jar of Alfredo and add in the peas, green onions, mushrooms, red pepper slices and chicken.
Cook simmering for about 10 mins. then add in the cheese. Continue to cook just until the cheese melts. In another bowl, mix together the sauce and cooked pasta.
Makes four servings
