Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe
1 (7 oz.) pkg. of thin spaghetti
2 tbsps. of butter, melted
8 ozs. of cream cheese
2 (8 oz.) cans of tomato sauce
1 tbsp. of butter
1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef
1/4 cup of sour cream
1/3 cup of scallions
1 tbsp. of green pepper, minced
1/2 lb. of cottage cheese
Pepper & Salt to taste
Spaghetti should be cooked as per instructions from its package and drain it well. Onto a skillet, saute the beef using some butter just until it is browned.
Then, add in the pepper, salt & tomato sauce and take it away from the heat.
Inside a food processor, process together scallions, sour cream, minced peppers and cream cheese and cottage cheese and set this aside.
Get a 2-qt. casserole and spread about half of cooked spaghetti then place a layer of cheese mix on the top.
After cheese layer, put the other half of cooked spaghetti then spread the butter that has been melted at the top.
Evenly spread out meat & tomato sauce on the top and chill. Take out of the refrigerator about 20 mins. prior to baking.
Cook in the oven for about 45 mins. at around 350′ F just until the dish is bubbling and heated through. You can serve this dish with some salad greens & French bread.
