Mostaccioli Recipe


Mostaccioli Recipe

1 (16 oz.) pkg. of mostaccioli
2 tbsps. of softened margarine or butter
2 (8 oz.) cans of tomato sauce
1 tsp. of seasoned salt
1 lb. of ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can of tomatoes, break them up
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. of oregano leaves
1 cup of chopped onion
1/4 tsp. of red pepper, crushed
1 cup of chopped coarsely ripe olives
1 cup of grated mozzarella

On a big skillet, brown the onions and beef then drain off drippings. Next, add in crushed pepper, oregano, salt that has been seasoned, grated parmesan, chopped olives, tomato sauce and the tomatoes.

Mostaccioli should be cooked as per instructions from its package and drained well.

Mix together the softened margarine or butter with the cooked mostaccioli. Onto a 3-qt. shallow dish for baking place the mostaccioli on the bottom then spread out the meaty sauce.

Lastly, finish with a sprinkling of the grated cheese at the top then cook inside the broiler for 2-3 mins or just until the cheese is melting.
