Pasta with Yogurt Sauce Recipe
8 ozs. green noodles
1 cup of small curd cottage cheese (room temp.)
1/2 cup scallions, chopped coarsely
2 (8 oz.) cartons of yogurt, plain (room temp.)
1/2 – 1 minced clove of garlic
1 tbsp. fresh oregano, minced or you can use
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 tbsps. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsps. dill weed (fresh)
Noodles should be cooked as per instructions on its package and drained well then kept warm. Inside a food processor or blender, process together garlic, onions, cottage cheese, seasonings and yogurt until mixture smoothens out.
Transfer it to a saucepan and heat it a little. Then coat noodles lightly with the butter then add this to the cheese-yogurt mix. Best served while hot.
