Pepperoni Cheese Ravioli Recipe
1 (25 oz.) pkg. cheese ravioli (frozen)
1 (8 oz.) can of tomato sauce
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. sliced & diced pepperoni
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 small onion, sliced in wedges
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 cup of Parmesan, grated
Ravioli should be cooked as per instructions from its package. In the meantime inside a big saucepan, heat butter and saute onions, pepperoni & mushrooms until the onions become softened.
Add in the canned sauce, cayenne, basil, powdered garlic, oregano & parmesan then heat it all thoroughly.
Take out of heat and add sour cream. Ravioli should be drained then combine it together with the creamy sauce.
Serves 4-6
