Quick Vegetable Pasta Recipe
1 lb. spaghetti
1 (16 oz.) bag of frozen broccoli, cauliflower or a medley of vegetables
3 tbsps. Olive oil
2 – 3 chopped cloves of garlic
1/4 tsp. powdered garlic
1 chopped onion (optional)
1 pc. Chicken cube (optional)
Pepper & salt for seasoning
1/2 tsp. parsley
On a big saucepan or saucepot, bring about 6 cups of water to boiling point. Add in onions, chicken cube, powdered garlic, parsley, pepper, salt & vegetables.
Lower the heat then cook simmering until the cauliflower becomes soft.
Spaghetti should be broken in 4 then added to the pot. Continue to cook until the pasta becomes al dente. In the meantime, heat the olive oil in a skillet then saute the garlic until it browns.
Then add the garlic and oil to boiling pot of spaghetti then serve in deep bowls with lots of grated parmesan
