Shrimp Durango Recipe
1 lb. dry fettuccine pasta
1 lb. peeled & deveined shrimp
2 tbsps. Lime juice
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
3 tbsps. Butter
1/2 cup of white wine
Pepper & salt for seasoning
1/2 bunch of finely chopped cilantro
Fettuccine should be cooked until it is cooked through but still firm then drain them well. In the meantime, melt the butter on a big skillet on medium flame and add in shrimp then cook shrimp for 3 mins. until they turn pinkish.
Take out the shrimp away from the heat then set it aside.
Add in lime juice and wine to same skillet that was used for cooking the shrimp then bring this mixture to a boil.
Continue boiling until it has reduced to half its original quantity. Put back the shrimps in the skillet and add in pepper, salt, cayenne pepper & cilantro then stir well and make sure that everything is heated through (2 mins.).
Mix the sauce together with the pasta before serving.
