Snake Alley Noodles Recipe
3/4 lb. spaghetti, uncooked
1/2 lb. cooked baby shrimp, drained & rinsed
1 lb. ground pork
2 tbsps. dry sherry
1 tbsp. fresh ginger root, minced
1/4 cup of Kikkoman Soy Sauce
4 tsps. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
2 minced cloves of garlic
3/4 cup green onions and tops, chopped
Spaghetti should be cooked as per instructions on its package but don’t add in salt to water where it is to be boiled. Drain it well and spaghetti should be kept warm.
In the meantime, mix together a cup of water, cornstarch, sherry and the soy sauce then set it aside.
In a big skillet or hot wok, stir fry the pork, red pepper, garlic & ginger on medium flame until the pork has already cooked. Then, add in green onions and continue stir frying for 1 more minute.
Pour in the soy sauce mix and continue to cook until it is boiling and slightly thickens up.
Add in the shrimps and the noodles & be sure to mix them well before serving.
