Southwestern Macaroni Recipe
2 cups of dry macaroni, uncooked
2 tbsps. soft butter
1/2 cup of crumbs of bread
1/2 tsp. mustard
2 cups of milk
1 1/2 cups of cubed Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
2 lightly beaten eggs
2 tbsps. melted butter
2 tbsps. chopped green chiles
Oven should be preheated to around 350′ F. Combine all the ingredients together aside from the crumbs of bread and butter.
Pour in a casserole then sprinkle the top with the crumbs of bread that have been blended with the butter. Then, bake in the oven for 40-50 mins.
