Spaghetti Carbonara Recipe
1/2 lb. vermicelli
1 cup Canadian bacon, diced
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 well beaten eggs
6 tbsps. Parmesan cheese, grated freshly
1/4 cup of olive oil
2 tbsps. butter
1 cup ham steak, diced
More Parmesan cheese, grated
Spaghetti should be cooked as per instructions on its package and drain it well & keep it warm. In a skillet, cook the mushrooms with butter and oil until it begins turning a golden color.
Next, add in the ham and bacon then heat it through but don’t brown the meat. Take out of the heat & add in eggs and cheese. Mix it with the cooked spaghetti while still hot then serve right away with more parmesan if desired.
