Spaghetti with Clam Sauce Recipe
8 ozs. spaghetti
2 (7 1/2 oz.) cans of chopped clams, do not drain
1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
2 crushed cloves of garlic
1 tbsp. salt
3 qts. of boiling water
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup parsley, chopped
Pepper to season
Cheese, grated
Slowly add salt and spaghetti to water that has been boiling so it still boils. Cook the pasta without a cover and occasionally stir it until noodles are cooked through but still firm. Drain using a colander.
On a saucepan, heat the oil and cook the garlic until it turns gold and add in all other ingredients. Make sure that everything is heated through just using low heat.
Pour the sauce over the spaghetti placed in a serving platter.
