Spaghetti with Stuffed Peppers Recipe
3/4 lb. cooked spaghetti
2 tsps. Vegetable oil
2 lbs. ground beef
4 (8 oz.) cans or more of tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 cup of onions, chopped & divided
1 beaten egg
2/3 cup of soft crumbs of bread
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/8 tsp. sage
1/2 cup of milk
6 pcs. medium-sized green bell peppers
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
Pepper & salt for seasoning
Put the peppers into salty boiling water & cook it simmering for 5 mins. then drain it well then let it cool a bit. In a bowl, combine milk, beaten egg, 1/4 cup of onions, sage, celery salt, pepper, salt, crumbs of bread.
Add in beef then mix together well.
Stuff the peppers generously with the meaty mixture and arrange the peppers making sure that the stuffed sides faces up into a 2-qt. casserole. Mix together the tomato sauce & 1/4 cup of onions, basil, oregano & garlic salt.
Evenly spread out the sauce all over the peppers inside the casserole. Cook inside the oven for about 45-60 mins. at around 375′ F.
Put a sprinkling of oil on the cooked & hot spaghetti then season with some pepper and salt. Mix it well together gently then place the spaghetti onto a serving dish.
Finish with a topping of the baked stuffed peppers then spread out more sauce on top of the spaghetti
