Stuffed Shells Recipe
1 pkg. jumbo shells
29 ozs. Marinara sauce
2 lbs. cottage or ricotta cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
10 ozs. Frozen chopped spinach
1 egg
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsps. Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
Shells should be parboiled for about 9 mins. and drain it well then arrange it on any flat, clean surface. Cook the spinach then blend it with the cottage/ricotta cheese, parmesan and egg. Stuff the shells with the filling mixture.
Mix together the spices and sauce then cook simmering for about 2 mins. Evenly spread out a small amount of sauce in the baking dish & place the shells on top of the sauce then cover the shells with the remainder of the sauce.
Cook inside the oven for about 15-20 mins. at around 350′ F.
