Taco Shells Recipe
1 big pkg. large shell macaroni
1 small jar of picante sauce
1 lb. chopped turkey or beef
1 can of refried beans
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
Cheese, shredded
Lettuce, shredded (optional)
Tomatoes (optional)
Shells should be cooked as per package instructions and drain them well then let them cool.
On a big skillet, cook meat until it browns and drain the drippings. Add in picante sauce, refried beans and the taco seasoning mix then mix everything well then make sure that the mixture is heated all throughout.
Shells should be filled up with the meaty mixture then place them inside a big baking pan. Finish with a generous covering of cheese that have been shredded then bake in the oven until the cheese melts.
This dish is best served hot and add tomatoes and lettuce that have been shredded if you want.
