Tortellini with Sage Sauce Recipe
1 (9 oz.) pkg. fresh refrigerated cheese tortellini
2 tbsps. Fresh sage leaves, shredded finely
6 tbsps. Butter
1/2 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated freshly
Cook the tortellini as per instructions from its package. In the meantime, melt the butter together with the olive oil on a 10-inch skillet on medium-high flame.
Next, add in the shredded sage then cook just until the butter starts to brown. Take out of the heat and pour the sauce on top the cooked tortellini.
Finish with a sprinkling of Parmigiano-Reggiano.
