Tuna and Mushroom Pasta Recipe
450g (16 ozs.) can of tuna
300ml carton of cream
90g (3 ozs.) button mushrooms
1 big onion
90g (3 ozs.) butter
2 tbsps. Tomato paste
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
Pepper & salt to taste
In a pan, melt the butter and add in peeled & chopped finely onions and the drained out tuna then cook it stirring on medium flame until the onions become soft. Chop up the mushrooms in halves and add them to the pan and blend them all well.
Add in the cream and tomato paste then season with some pepper and salt.
Bring to a boil the sauce then take it out off the heat right away. Add in parsley.
Makes 4 servings
This recipe is good served with salad greens with a lot of fresh lettuce and a plain dressing and some French or Italian bread to mop up any of the sauce. This dish is also great paired with a good Chianti. Very easy and tasty dish.
