Tuna Tetrazzini Recipe
1/2 lb. spaghetti
1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup of butter
3/4 cup celery, chopped
1 cup ripe or green olives, chopped
1 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup pimento, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 lb. grated American process cheese
Spaghetti should be cooked inside boiling salty water until it is al dente then drain it well.
In a skillet, melt the butter and add in onions, celery and peppers then cook them until they soften up. Next, add in cream, cheese and olives then cook this on low flame until the cheese is melting.
Then, add in the tuna and pour the whole mixture into the cooked spaghetti and blend them well. Put the spaghetti mixture in a 1 1/2-qt. casserole then finish with a sprinkling of grated American cheese.
Then, cook in the oven for about 25 mins. at a temperature of 350′ F.
